This poster makes you want to watch it because it uses pathetic fallacy such as the storm to show that something is going to go wrong, this poster also uses the horror movie colour pallet such as the black and white.The colour black connotes darkness and death which suggests to the audience that this movie is going to be scary.The main image is appealing to the audience because it doesn't show you a lot, but it shows you enough to make you want to watch the movie.The name 'THE THING' makes the movie sound scarier because its just that there isn't anything telling you what 'THE THING' is or what it looks like .
